The 2025 Surron Light Bee X (LBX) features significant performance and component upgrades over previous models, including a more powerful 8,000W motor and a larger 60V/40Ah battery.
Power and battery
• Maximum Power: The motor now produces 8,000W (8kW) of peak power, a 33% increase over the 2024 model.
• Torque: Peak torque at the wheel is boosted to 196.2 ft-lbs (266 Nm), resulting in stronger acceleration.
• Battery: An optimized, removable 60V/40Ah lithium-ion battery uses 21700 cells and is UL-listed for safety. It can fast-charge from 20% to 80% in just two hours.
• Acceleration: The 0 to 31 mph (0 to 50 km/h) time is now 2.7 seconds.
• Range: The estimated range is up to 46.6 miles (75 km) under World Motorcycle Test Cycle (WMTC) standards at an average speed of 24.9 mph (40 km/h).
• Controller: An all-new FOC sinewave controller provides smoother, more precise power delivery.
• Throttle: The two-stage, ride-by-wire throttle is adjustable for customized dynamics.
Chassis and suspension
• Frame: It retains the forged aluminum alloy frame, known for its strength and light weight.
• Suspension: The 2025 model includes an optimized gold-colored inverted front fork with 7.8 inches (200 mm) of travel. The Intersect TR multi-link rear suspension has full adjustability.
• Brakes: The braking system has been upgraded to four-piston hydraulic disc brakes with braided DOT brake lines for improved performance and less fade.
• Wheel Set: A new staggered off-road wheel set is included, with a 19-inch front wheel and a fatter 18-inch rear wheel for enhanced grip on varied terrain.
